Hello,
Pam stated that the latest 4.0 was installed on the new book ports due to some manufacturing reasons and that other than that, nothing for the other users was necessary. She also said in the same post that when the next update came, everyone, would all be updated to what the latest is at that time.

I'd sure like to hear something from the APH folks, at least to know for sure.
We all want the latest and greatest after all. :-)

Yes, this is indeed the case. I got mine in november last year and it had
2.4 on it.
When might we see a new version of the firmware?

Hi Caroline and list:

You're not missing anything. Pamela reported that this was a release some of the newest units are running but it is only running on those units that come with it installed. Not quite sure what if anything is special about it other than the number, but she assured us on list that we need not be concerned
about it.

Cheers,D

Subject: [bookport] Firmware 2.4?

Hi everyone. Yesterday I was showing a friend how to do some things with her brand new Book Port. I noticed, after she unplugged from her computer, that the Bp said Version 2.4. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks.

Caroline
