Looking at it, if I'd been the one designing it, which I wasn't, I would've just allowed the CF card to stick out of the case - little to be gained protecting it with the flap, really, and it would've made for a more secure closure.

I, too, got the new leather BookPort case, and really like it. It makes my
BookPort look so professional, something like a tiny notetaker. To try to
answer your question, Bruce, I don't think the CF card inhibits the Velcro from
fastening. While I could see wear and tear causing the Velcro to become less
tenacious over time, at the moment the cover stays tightly closed and the
Velcro requires quite a tug to get it to come loose. I fully agree, this case
is an excellent addition to my BookPort.

I received my Bookport case this morning. I'm quite favorably impressed with it. It cost only $12 shipping to Canada, as opposed to the hundred and something dollars someone else said, there was no duty charged, and I really like the look of the case. I think this will be a very positive addition to my BP. My question would be this, though. The CF card sticks out of a slot that gets covered by the velcro of the flap when you close the case. Does the CF card inhibit the flap's ability to fasten properly? I'm at work and my BP is at home, so I can't say at the moment.
