If you are looking at the files via Windows Explorer or My Computer,
then you will see the files with the different extensions. The file that
has the DD extension is your data file. If you don't delete that one,
then you will have your data retained and won't have to retransfer. If
you were to delete the AA file, then the next time you go to read that
file, it'll start at the beginning. You don't want to retransfer the
files with the extensions, because the Book Port won't recognize them.
So, copying and pasting would serve in that case.

If, I delete all the files, except the .txt file, does that mean the
book
port won't recognize them? Do I have to do a reinstall of the files?

Thanks, Skip
