Hi Larry, I changed the subject line to reflect the topic you want feedback on. I just put in a new set of batteries and will check in a while if that changes from 100%. I suspect this has come up before, but could there be a way of turning the unit off completely rather than just putting it to sleep? A friend believes that even the ten seconds that it uses of battery power each time a key is bumped when it is in the locked mode is wasting battery life. I am not sure how much that adds up, but I suspect a lot if it is being carried in a back pack or brief case when it is being bumped frequently.
