Paul:

It would be interesting to know if this problem is repeatable. Try
D+E+F again sometime, remove the batteries for a bit, and replace them.
If your preferences are not kept by the unit, let me know your serial
number.

I tried d e and f as I had to put in a new set of batteries. I was
told
the batteries were low and to replace them. I pressed d e and f and
heard a
sound like shutting off. However, when I put in my new set of
batteries, I
still had to set the time. Did I need to press d e and f again to
restore
the settings?
