I just had a thought about my second conclusion:
2) I could only get the bible list if I updated my firmeare again. I had
done this a week or two ago and was surprised to find another firmeare
upgrade tonight.
I don't remember if I clicked "allow" or "deny" to the Symantec prompt. I
may have clicked "deny" the first time assuming it would be cleared when I
stopped and restarted the TT. But after restarting the TT I didn't get
prompted again until after I power cycled my PC following the hang. So
denying the Event Manager request may have been the cause of preventing me
getting the bible list on the first attempt. Updating the firmware could be
a red herring (I couldn't see how the BC firmware would have an effect on
this).
