Lee,
I posted these attached photos of the "original" Bobsy badges off of my
SR-3 and SR-5 cars, along with the Reproduction badges I had made in 1990.
Most of the badges on cars presently are those reproduction badges I had
made.

The drawing looks good, Don (altho my judgement is pretty
questionable, since I've never seen an original badge!!)
I will take 2 of them if the price looks reasonable.

All,high,
The etch relief badge $ quote from a Photo Engraving Company was too

I've got my CNC guy working on Aluminum badges. See the attached CAD
drawing.
I'm planning on 0.125" thick badges, with a 0.62 relief around the BOBSY
letters. (NOT the 0.250 thick and 0.125 relief shown.)
The prior zinc badges were either the thick ones of 0.155", or the thin
batch of 0.090" thick.
So, I'll compromise at 0,125" thick, and in Aluminum like the original
badges.
I should get a $ quote soon.

good.
Bob,
I will still get the metal one, but if you have a couple extra plastic
ones, I would like to have them.

As mentioned in another email, I had a batch of some plastic replica
badges made up several years ago for the 2012 Bobsy Reunion. They are

substitute for the real thing, but they are pretty good. I have an

cast badge one on the nose of my SR-3, but used the plastic
reproductions
for the lower rear of the front bonnet. They they look fine.
If all of you can get together or doing some more nice cast
reproductions, go for it. Not sure who is in charge of seeing if there
is
enough interest for doing that. But carry on.
As the picture below shows, my replica plastic versions are pretty

would like 2 or 3 of my replica badges, let me know your name and
