Are you showing the preview pane?I had this sort of thing happen
from time to time when I read messages using the preview pane years ago.
if you are using the preview pane, uncheck its use in the Eudora
options. Then close out Eudora and restart it and see if the problem
still persists. Make sure you have all your child windows maximized in Eudora.
