Hi Marjorie,

Okay, please do talk to her, as so far, everyone that I know of that has a Gmail account has to deal with the SSL Certificate stuff. <smile>

I sure hope we can all fix it so we don't have to deal with it.

Thanks much.

Many Blessings,

I think someone else has a gmail account and it works for her. Haven't heard from her recently but will ask when I talked to her.

Hi Marjorie,

Okay, this is great, but you see some of us have Gmail accounts, and someone said this will not work for those of us who have a Gmail account. <smile>

I'm so happy it's working for you. <smile>

Thanks much.

Thank you, Marjorie,

I just might try that, because I get the Certificate error at least once or twice a week.

Like you, Ann, and Everyone else, I'm sick of the certificate error stuff..

I'm going to be setting up Eudora on a friend's computer in about a month, and I don't want her to have to deal with it.

I'll definitely put the SSL Certificate stuff on "never."

Thanks much.

Had the same problem a long time ago and we solved it by going to checking mail, arrow over to secure sockets and select never. In that way you don't get this stupid certificate crap.

tonight we have the stinkin' certificate error, again. It's Yahoo mail. Both our computers, different ID's, can receive mail but can't send it.

Talk about getting tired of something! and I don't remember how to fix it. I think my son-in-law finally took pity on us last time and made the error go away.

Is there an easy fix????

Thanks,

Ann
