I hear you loud and clear. Actually we do not need to look across the
oceans to learn about hatred, racism, bullying and fear mongering.
Setting aside the obvious example of the KKK and Black Americans, we
can look to the Union Busters of the 1890's through the 1930's. Town
toughs were gathered and given bully sticks with instructions on how
to use them. They were turned out with orders to break up picket
lines and gatherings of protesters. My own uncle Bill was a stoolie
for the company bosses and later, for the FBI. He infiltrated labor
meetings, or neighborhood gatherings, ordered to report the names of
any individual who spoke out against the bosses or against the local
political bosses. Today's crisis may actually be worse for the
American Laborers because their once powerful Working Class is barely
breathing today.

History does indeed repeat itself. (see the 1920's and 1930's in Germany.)
