Hello Julie and other interested people,
The announced price for a Kurzweil 1000 upgrade from any version is $125.
Typically it's $95 but due to increased licensing costs, Kurzweil
Educational has had to make changes. You can start ordering the upgrade
now.

Try calling Kurzweil Educational Systems to see if they have your
registration information available and if they can give you your serial
number. If your serial number/registration information can be found, then
you should be able to upgrade at the price set by Kurzweil Educational. This
time around the upgrade will be more than $95 as the company's licensing
costs have increased.

A long time ago I had k1000, it was back in 1999 or so. Unfortunately, I
never got my copy back and I don't remember the serial number. Can I still
upgrade? Thanks. I totally forgot about that when I asked last week about
