Hi Rebecca,
Did you know that there are places that you can look, other than
asking on this list, to find out if anyone is working on books that you're
interested in scanning, in case the person working on the book isn't on
the
volunteer list?
There is a page on the Bookshare web site called "books in processing."
There all books that are on the step 1 page awaiting validation, all books
out for validation, all books awaiting administrator approval for addition
to the collection, and all books that may have been rejected recently are
listed. Also, Cindy posts a list of books currently being scanned to this
list regularly. I find these lists terribly helpful when trying to decide
what to scan next. Maybe they will help you too!
