I agree then for than is absolutely annoying and indicates near illiteracy
to me.

My pet peeve is seeing then used instead of than in writing, and I have seen
it in some books.  Example, "I have more then you do."
Also, "exact same". We used to have a teacher who used those two words and
we made fun of her.  Now I am seeing it in books.

Hi,
I am in full agreement with you. I have seen people misuse to and too.
I get so mad when people say "me and my friend" or when people (including
teachers) use your for you're instead of the right one. I agree with what
you said about the immigrants.
