Do we know whether it's coming in this way or an artifact of in-house processing? Could someone talk to the publisher or is this better left to the BookShare staff?

Well I pulled down my 1st pq book today. I expected to se, uh, well, publisher quality. What I'm seeing is lots of words run together, sometimes 3 at once, which makes it a rather difficult & tedious reading experience. Somehow the eutopia of perfect books is exploding in our faces, & I can only wonder why. I hate to say it, but it surely seems as though the volunteer-submitted books are often better. I'm not complaining--I love it that publishers are giving books to us--but I'm wondering why these problems? Surely a spellcheck would have picked them up. & now that the book is in the collection, is there anything at all that can be done to improve the quality? Folks, this is beyond sad! Ok, yall, rant over. I'll shut up now. -- Change the world--1 deed at a time Jackie McBride Check out my homepage at: www.abletec.serverheaven.net & please join my fight against breast cancer <http://teamacs.acsevents.org/site/TR?px=1790196&pg=personal&fr_id=3489> To unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to bksvol-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxput the word 'unsubscribe' by itself in the subject line.
