An interesting idea for sure, even if not suited for our model. In our case
there would be legal issues as well, as sighted volunteers do not have rights
to access these books outside of scanning and validation purposes.

All good things,

Can volunteers get to unvalidated books without taking them off of the list?
I think some people may want to read something before a validator has gotten
to it and won't worry about various recognition issues. It could be a
privilege for volunteers who want to read something sooner than later.

It's just an idea of which I have many and only a small portion of them are
worth anything <smile>.
