I agree. Other sources that I have heard from as well indicate that it
is a security upgrade required for all government computer sites.
I also heard, but cannot speak to directly, that it was a requirement
from OHS.
If that is true things should return as soon as the upgrade is complete.
After all, we wouldn't want those terrorists stealing all those braille
books, right? <laughs and smiles>
Patients will probably pay the best in the long run.
Back to patiently waiting and real work.

I believe the temporary suspension of web braille to be just that,
temporary. I spoke with Mr. C. and he assured me the suspension was
technical and based on security needs. Rather than signing an angry
petition, waiting just a bit to find out if the fix is done in a timely
manner seems wiser. Signing the petition, particularly if it is angry
in tone, may do little to help and may do some harm. (I have not read
the petition so cannot speak to its tone. I also remember when I spoke
of the tone of other petitions, I was flamed in a strong manner on this
list several months ago.)
