You could even start saving and get a hotel room and
stay for the three or so days of the convention. Make
it a vacation. You've read what fun they have when
they go out to dinner--and the hotel has a swimming
pool, if it's where it was in the past. There ae
lectures and things, too, I think, as well as the
product displays. I only went twice to meet people.
The first year I went I had drinks (nonalcoholic for
me since I was driving) with Donna Smith (I think it
was, wasn't it, Donna?) and Elizabeth and her sister
from up north. The second time I went I had lunch with
Carrie and Pratik; unfortunately, Bob, I think it was,
and I who were supposed to meet apparently missed each
other, though each of us was at the appointed place at
the apppointed time, supposedly.
