If you can possibly describe a picture then please do and enclose the description in brackets. If an entire page consists of a picture and you cannot describe it then enclose the following in brackets: "This page contains a picture that cannot be reproduced here." If there is only blank space between sections then indicate that with three asterisks and a blank line above and below the asterisks.

It cannot be on the side of workers anywhere in the world because it is an ally of the monopolies. It cannot be on the side of colonies because it is an ally of the colonizing powers." - Fidel Castro 1960

Hi, I am working on my first cook book, and I have some basic questions. First, should the descriptions of pictures be included, or removed? Alsopages that were only pictures have (picture), is this appropriate instead of[blank page]? Second, there is a lot of formatting in the book, like sections that are indented, should all of this formatting be removed? And if so is there a specific way to signal a change in section? Thank you for the help, Alicia Stillwell
