This is true. When you release a book you don't have the opportunity to leave comments. It would be nice to be able to.

Hi Judy, Unfortunately, the releaser of a book has no way to make comments. Only the submitter and final proofreader uploading a book for administration to approve can make comments. That sure would be nice though, to be able to see if someone released a book because they had a problem with it. Am I wrong about this? I don't think I've ever been offered an option to release a book and leave comments. I agree, given Jackie's explanation, with Jackie's choice to release the book instead of rejecting it. Many of the experienced proofreaders here are able to easily figure out page numbering problems without it taking very much time. Having a comment added on why it was released would sure be helpful, though! You could write to Carrie and see what she suggests, but they need to have a comment in the history in alllikelihood.Valerie On Apr 21, 2010, at 9:10 AM, Jamie Prater wrote:Hi, all, since I'm not positive what bookshare wants in the way of page numbers and unfortunately, I saw discrepancies and inconsistencies, I have no choice to release it since I'm not skilled at solving page numbering puzzles no matter how minor. I hate to do this as the book did sound interesting and an easy read/proofread. If anybody wants to take another stab at it, it is You may all prophesy by Steve Thompson. I appreciate the effort of the submitter in making this book available and I pray I do not offend anybody by doingthis. Thanks and have a blessed day.To unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to bksvol-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx put the word 'unsubscribe' by itself in the subject line.
