According to what I have heard, you need to put a blank line between the page number and the text. Otherwise, if I remember correctly, the page numbers get merged with the first line of text in the html files.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] blank line beytween page number and text

Hi gang,
I'm just finishing scanning a book that has no headers thank goodness, but the page number is just above the top line of the text without a blank line in between. Is this ok or should I go through and put a blank line between page number and top line of text on every page? Thanks.
