Scott, If they're all at the bottom, then it's easier to just leave them there and put a false header above the chapter headings to protect them. The Stripper seems happy if you use the title as the false header. It strips it, then leaves the chapter heading alone. If you aren't stripping the headers at the top of every page, though, then just follow the pattern of what would normally be at the top of the page if a chapter didn't start on that page. Remember to make sure that the headers are consistent down to the captilization and spacing, or the Stripper may get confused and not strip them. So, my question currently is this: In a book where the page numbers are normally on the bottom of the pages, should I move them all to the top of the page? Or should I only concern myself with page numbers on the pages where new chapters or parts begin, in order to protect chapter headings??
