Hi,
I am not sure why, but I am somewhat confused about the ideal finished
product when validating. Specifically, I have the following questions.

Are we to do all we can to leave page numbers there or do we need to take
them out?

Ideally, should we make page breaks look like blank line, page break, blank
line?

Should we follow the tips and instructions to the letter when possible that
detail how to remove leading, trailing and extra spaces, tabs, and extra
line breaks?

I guess it would make me feel better if there was a document or part of one
that said something like, if you can, here is a list of the ideal things we
would like to have you to do to a book when you validate it and have that
list all in one place so it would be easy to check.

I would be glad to write that document if someone feeds me the information.

Thanks for everyone's patience.
