Hi, Gerald. It's in her descriptions of pictures, not scanned. The description appears as one long word with only commas instead of spaces. I tried removing commas, but that doesn't work.

Mickey,

I saw this question the other day when you asked, but didn't have an answer.
Since no one else seems to have one either, I'll at least respond to let you
know that we're not ignoring you.

The only thing I can say is that it's not a wordprocessor problem but either
an OCR problem or something in the book that's causing the problem like
having the picture in the background of the caption.

Perhaps having someone sighted look at the page could provide the answer if
you can find the book. If not, then perhaps someone else may have a better
idea if you could find out what software was used to scan the book. I know
its probably not possible to answer these questions, though, and I'm afraid
it's probably not possible to answer yours either.

Sorry,
Gerald

Hi. I've done several of the Berenstain books. They have illustrations which

are described. The words of the description are separated by commas instead
of spaces. I'm curious to know what word processor would do that. Needless
to say, we need to go through the book word by word.
