Actually, the one in the book is spelled Giro, but JAWS pronounces them both the same, so the joke just popped into my head.

No, I've been meaning to ask what gyro meant in this context. To me, a gyro
is a sandwich consisting usually of highly spiced lamb, feta cheese,
lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumber sauce. I really doubt that this is what it
means in relation to Scotland, Evan's explanation notwithstanding. <lol>
