Hi, Jackie.
I feel silly now because that's so easy.
Silly but more informed.
Thank you for helping and for responding right away.

Christine, its extended ascii value is 173. U didn't tell us what
software you're using to validate with, but, probably the easiest way
to fix this if u have search & replace is the following:
1) Put your cursor on the weird character;
2) select it, in most word processors it's shift right arrow;
3) Copy it, usually control c in most word processors;
4) Use your software's search & replace function--control h in word &
clones, sometimes control r in other packages;
5) Paste the character into the search box--control v in most word processors;
6) Go to the replace with box & don't enter anything;
7) Hit the replace all, & they're history.

HTH.

Hello, all. I am currently validating a BSO of Dragon Bones by Patricia
Briggs. There is one, or possibly several different, character/s that keep
appearing. Could someone please tell me what these characters are? I've
copied some of the words that contain them below.
I put my cursor on it and pressed the Insert key, I use JAWS, and the number
five and I heard a bunch of zeros followed by 255255255. I have no idea
what that means.
Thank you.
