Martha is correct that most of the books we proof don't have section breaks.
The one I'm proofing now was the first one I've come across that did, which is
why I didn't think of globally replacing them with page breaks and disastrously
deleted them smile
In my Wword, which I think may be older than 2002 there is an Insert file on
the ruler next to the format file. click on it, then scroll ldown to Symbol,
and there is a whole chart of symbols you can shoose from. Put your cursor
where you want to insert the symbol, then click on the symbol you want and
click n insert it will appear in the text. When you clock on the symbol, at
the bottom of the chart it tells you the Times new roman and Unicode character
numbers for the symbol. Also, below that, there's something that says shortcut
key and next to it the keystroke combinations that you can use to quickly get
the symbol. For example, I use Option and the E key to replace a normal e with
an é
