Shannon, I see Sarah's already given you the address for the U.S. Copyright Office's database, so I'll just say congratulations on having your first validation accepted. IN the volunteer info I received from Janice, it was suggested that, in order to verify a copyright, I could use the library of Congress site, www.loc.gov. I found this site more confusing than anything else. So what is the best web site for obtaining or verifying copyright information? Or if the Library of Congress is the best site, is there a certain link I need to go to first before I do a search? There is a search box on loc.gov but it didn't give me the information I needed, which was to verify a copyright. Also I want to thank Natalie for answering a couple of questions I had when I chose my first book for validating. She was very helpful.
