Yes, you're absolutely right, i.e., downloading a book in step 1 would
give
me the RTF format, but I'm trying to work on a validation
tutorial. I specifically need a public domain book to avoid any issues
with
copyrights and so forth. I also need the RTF format as the test format
booklet since that is what Bookshare prefers, and it will give new
validators a chance to work with that format (if they choose to do the
tutorial).
So far I've Googled "public domain books in rtf" and queries such as that,
alas no luck! If anyone knows of a public domain book awaiting
validation,
that would be the perfect answer.
I'll look again on the list of books waiting for validation to see if I
have
missed anything that is public domain.
