SIPDF is what's known as a searchable image pdf. It's got all the scans from a book with a text layer compressed into a pdf file that's about 1 quarter the size of the original scans. With an SIPDF, there will be no more, will the submitter of such and such please contact me, because all the images are right there in the pdf file. Always assuming, of course, some lazy scanner didn't do a page check before submitting to make sure all pages were present. But that's neither here nor there. They open right up in acrobat and fine reader 8 so you can re recognize pages and eliminate errors right away. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Grandma Cindy" <popularplace@xxxxxxxxx>
