   I sure don't blame you for not wanting to read the entire book again! 
Could you use the find feature to come up with a phrase either before or 
after each instance of the word family?  (Both spellings, of course.) 
books.google could then tell you what the author's spelling is?  It was just

a thought.

want to read over the complete book again as I've done that once. IS there
