Yes, all chapter titles or numbers or headings need to be formatted. However, for bookshare purposes, that means putting it in bold and 16 pt, not heading 1 style.

Hi Roger, I mean like chapter headings. For example, If the book has: Chapter 1: Welcome in my world That's just a fake example. Does that need to be put in heading format??? Sorry if I confused everyone... Thank you for your help... On 12/22/12, Roger Loran Bailey <rogerbailey81@xxxxxxx> wrote:If someone can tell me why this keeps happening please let me know. Occasionally about the first line of my email gets cut off and it happened this time. My message should have started out with, what do you mean by chapter heading? Do you mean chapter title? If that is the case then it is unlikely that there will be some chapters with titles and others without chapter titles in a single book. Perhaps some did not scan. Do you mean chapter numbers? If that is the case you should consider the chapter number to be the chapter heading and bold and enlarge it. If there are no chapter numbers or titles then I think we are supposed to add the chapter numbers ourselves. Let someone else speak to that, though, because I am not sure. If you do, you can do this: Go to the beginning of the line, hold down shift and hit down arrow to select the heading. Then hold down alt and O., then F for the font menu. Tab once for the style (you want Bold) Tab again for size (you want 16) I hope this is what you want. HTH! Marty Then hit enter. -----Original Message----- From: Nimit Kaur Sent: Saturday, December 22, 2012 1:54 PM To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Putting Headings with Jaws 12 in Ms. 2007 -- NIMIT KAUR Additional Email Contact: kaur.nimit@xxxxxxxxxxx Hi Everyone, I am proofreaiding a book and I wasn't sure if we are supposed to put headings on every chapter????
