Hi gang, There is a full-time Bookshare employee who is our Publisher Liaison. Her job is to work with publishers in a variety of ways, one of which is to request books from them. My opinion is that her most important function is to explain what Bookshare is to them, how it will not affect their sales in a negative way, etc. I would guess that Dolphin Press is on her list of publishers to contact, but her main focus right now is on the big publishers, like Harper Collins, Scholastic, Hachette, etc. Her efforts have resulted in a stream of books from publishers, which will eventually number in the tens of thousands. She's very good at her job! We're quite lucky to have her. Otherwise there are likely to be publishers out there that have either not heard of Bookshare or if they have then it has not occurred to them to contribute. In a message dated 8/4/2008 4:38:12 A.M. Does anyone know if Dolphin Press is planning to contribute Publisher Quality books to bookshare? E.
