Hey Sue,
Rebooting often solves problems. It isn't a guarantee, but it's always a good thing to try.
As for saying you should have waited to post, now that you're able to read your book, your penance is to read fifty extra pages today. <smile>

Hi Evan,

It was doing that on both files I have of books I am proofing. But I
spoke too soon. I shut down my PC for lunch, and when I booted up after
lunch, the problem had fixed itself. Sorry for posting. I should have
waited.

Hi Sue,
Have you tried any other files? If so, do they all do the same thing or just this one? If not, maybe you could open something else and see what happens.

Hi All,

I have a problem and don't know how to fix it. I have MS Word 2010 on a
Windows 7 PC running Jaws 15.

When I go to my file, instead of seeing the title, I just see lbx and
nothing else. And when I go to a page, I can read a few lines with my
Braille display and then the Braille goes away and no matter how much I
arrow up and down, all I can see is Word telling me which page I'm on.
How can I get it to behave normally again? This isn't the fault of the
scan. Thhis just started this morning.

Thanks in advance,

Sue S.
