the button is resessed and is behind the power button and you can use a
nale.
I don't believe this is true. You used to lose your files sometimes when resetting, but that was fixed. However, with the braille note, I was told that if your battery goes completely dead you have to stick something in a hole to reset it. I don't know if this is every time, but I'm told it was most regularly.
