I agree!  Anyone, just don't bend the books back, which will crease the spine.

Scanning doesn't always destroy the spine. I get most of the books I scan from the library.

Occasionally I will buy from <http://half.com>half.com or <http://amazon.com>amazon.com (half has slightly cheaper shipping and if you buy 2 from the same seller, shipping on the second book is half price) and I'm always looking at books in thrift stores.
