So far they are still not really accessible.

So far, that is my experience particularly the ones requiring the Adobe
Reader, not Acrobat, but the Reader.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] O.T.: mainstream accessing mainstream e-books

Hi Folks,

Many publishers and authors are making their books a availabable in e-book
format nowadays. This would be great, but the last time I researched this
topic, these books were not accessible with screen readers.

Does anyone have experience with mainstream e-books, and can you offer any
suggestions for reading them?

Cheers,

Robin
