He seems to have figured this is home now yesterday he stuck to doggie
toys.  He misses his mom I think.

They make crates for huge doggies.  Vented with beds etc.  Good for 
nighttime when you are sleeping and he can get into mischief.  Other
that 
that and lots and lots of toys the only other thing which springs to
mind 
is one of those 16 foot flexy leads.  Let's you know where said dog is
and 
whether he is doing something mischievious while giving him room.  I 
realize it is more confining than letting him free.  On the otherhand, 
being free for him gives you a bit less control over the mischief.
