I realize it is a very common scanning error. I've seen it many times in books I've scanned or proofed. However, since it doesn't appear when reading the xml file of the same book, it certainly makes me wonder why it does on the Stream.

I noticed it several time in Prairie Tale, and decided to check to see if it was read the same way with other devices. I loaded the xml file with Internet Explorer 8, and did not find the same thing. I haven't tried opening the opf file with Kurzweil, yet, but plan to. This only occurs, when the I is actually the word I, and not just an i in the middle of a word. I haven't had my Stream for very long, so can't really say if this occurred in other books. -- Melissa Smith To unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to bksvol-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxput the word 'unsubscribe' by itself in the subject line.
