I did notice that and assumed that it was in the text itself. I just recently made a quality report that a certain publisher quality book had an occasional I read as a 1. It was only occasional though. For the most part I was read as I.

Has anyone noticed I's being read as 1's on the Victor Reader Stream with Bookshare daisy files? I noticed it several time in Prairie Tale, and decided to check to see if it was read the same way with other devices. I loaded the xml file with Internet Explorer 8, and did not find the same thing. I haven't tried opening the opf file with Kurzweil, yet, but plan to. This only occurs, when the I is actually the word I, and not just an i in the middle of a word. I haven't had my Stream for very long, so can't really say if this occurred in other books.-- Melissa Smith To unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to bksvol-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxput the word 'unsubscribe' by itself in the subject line.
