It really isn't so hard. Check the list, find a title that interests you, read the synopsis to be sure it interests you, see if the rating is Excellent, and then download and try reading it. Sometimes the rating is accurate and sometimes not. I don't know who the scanners are who submit really clean books because I usually take ones that have problems, and though theyhave been named here, I've forgotten most of them except for Kenneth Cross. I understand his submissions are perfect, but they tend to be nonfiction, as far as I know. His submission of the biography of F. Scott Fitzgerald is near the bottom of the download list; he submitted it in November, but I guess not too many people are interested in reading it. I haven't looked at it so I don't know if it's nicely readable to a lay person or if it's pedantic. I wish you'd been around when all the books about music and jazz were on the list.
