Uh...well...since you put it that way, I don't know.
I can't remember a book I've proofed with an actual link in it. I still
think I'd leave it alone unless you get information on this list that
suggests you should strip it out.
How's that for a hazy response?

Bob, is that the case for volunteer submitted books, or just publisher
quality books? I think I've noticed a difference in that the PQ books
do have hyperlinks that work, but the volunteer submitted books don't
have hyperlinks that work. Just working on memory here, so I could well
be mistaken. smile.

Daisy doesn't do anything with it. I say that because reading books with
Kurzweil and in my web browser, I still get the links--and can still
activate them etc.
So, in short, I'd say leave them alone.

What happens to the hyperlink fields in Word when a book goes through
DAISY and braille conversion?
Do the bookshare tools strip those or leave them in? If a URL in a book
has been turned into a hyperlink by Word, is it best to convert it back
to ordinary text?
