Hi, Melissa, I went to my start menu, went to programs, hit A for
accessories, up arrowed to the W's, and ... No WordPad. I think it's in
Microsoft Word 2003. Regards, Kim.

Kim, go to start, programs, accessories, and up arrow to wordpad. Once you
are on Wordpad, press the application key, usually the second key to the
right of the spacebar. This will bring up a menu press n or arrow down to
the menu item that says send to. This has a pull-down or submenu. In the
pull-down menu, you want to select desktop create desktop shortcut. There
you go.
