Well, when you are visually impaired, and go on vacation with a total of
twenty-four hours of nothing but driving time, well... you get a lot
accomplished.

I submitted today seven books to Bookshare.

Two of them need work, and all the comments are attached to the books.

Below is a synopsis of each of them.

BSO My Rescued Golden

This is a replacement for the "good" copy in the collection. Talks about
golden retrievers who were rescued and adopted and the jobs they do now.

BSO Skipper the Guide Dog

This is one of the earliest books published in this country on guide dogs.
Replacement for a "good" copy in the collection.

The Golden Retriever

Title is pretty self explanatory.

The Healing Touch for Dogs

A very nice descriptive book on how to do massage with your dog. I would
still be hunting down anatomy charts or getting a hands on explanation. But
an excellent resource.

The Renters' Survival Kit

This is a great book for those of us looking for a apartment or condo to
rent. Explains what to look for, how to "protect" yourself, and naturally
what to do when your living situation isn't ideal. Excellent resource.

Those all are very easy validations.

I also submitted, which will require some work, and I know they could be
excellent scans if someone is willing to give them the time. I just haven't
bothered, as well.

The first one, the file and my BN don't like each other, and after editing
it twice, only to get it lost again, well...

The second one, is a 2006 and very popular book, and I don't have the time
to edit it right now.

Zack's Tales - Travels of a Guide Dog

This iis a really cute story, told from Zack's point of view.
Comments on what needs done is in the comments area on the submission.

Cesar's Way: The Natural and Every Day Common Sense way to solve most dog
behavior problems.

Amber said she wanted this book, and it needs the works, haven't touched it.
Was just published, came out in May. Was on a waiting list for it.

Enjoy and happy validating.
And will be attacking the massive ammounts of email in the next couple of
days.

Dog ownership is like a rainbow.
Puppies are the joy at one end.
Old dogs are the treasure at the other.
