I never read those. I wonder if they were after my
time. My favorites were the Bobbsey Twins series, the
Honeybunch series, and the Five Little Pepper series.
I liked Nancy Drew but for some reason my mother
woldn't let me have them; maybe she thought they were
too scary--but I borrowed them from friends' houses or
read thema t friends--can't remember, but i did read
some of them. Maybe I was a little older and Mom
relented.
