Hi all,

Spaces in between asterisks are fine!

I want to second what Valerie is saying. Using the "normal" only works if Word is set up a certain way. Adding a space between asterisks is how I've been doing it for years to save keyboarding and highlighting with my crummy use of my hands.

Madeleine;

I work on about 4 different machines and every time Office 365 updates, it reverts to defaults, so to avoid the border issue, I put a space between asterisks. Do I really have to change back? :-( I try to avoid keyboarding and highlighting as much as possible with my bad hands and Dragon Dictate for Mac doesn’t play nice in books in Word. I don’t want to sound whiney, but if it is optional to put a space between asterisks, it means a lot less work for me! :-)

Hi Gary,

Three asterisks in a row, no spaces, is great. You can highlight them and click normal, or highlight the line Judy’s referring to you if you get that, and click normal, and they will turn back into asterisks. This is when using word though, so not sure if that would work in Kurzweil.

Best,

Madeleine
