Hi Kristen,
How often does this occur?
Can you give an example?
It could just be an occasional scannoe, but if it occurs often, then
something else may be going on.
It could be an elipsis gone wrong, but then there should be at least two
characters preceding the period, either two apostrophes, or a period and an
apostrophe in either order.
I can't recall having seen a period scanned as an apostrophe, although I can
see how it might happen.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Apostrophe-Period Sequence
Hi again--
When there is an apostrophe right before a period at the end of a
sentence, is it supposed to be an ellipsis or just one period
with no apostrophe? Or, is there a reason to have this
punctuation?
Thanks so much,
