Trying to clarify the previous responses ...You don't have to use roman numerals for the preliminary pages unless some of them are already roman numerals. Just number back from 7 to 1, if there are any pages left, you can either leave them numberless or start from the front with roman numerals, i, ii, iii and so on. Leaving them numberless doesn't do any harm except they won't have page number navigation in the DAISY file.
The title doesn't absolutely have to be 20 point, but if the chapters are 16 point, the title should be at least 2 points larger 18, or 20. The bookshare converter doesn't recognize anything larger than 20.

Hello all! Well, I think this has been discussed but I can remember the answer........... Well, I have a book that chapter 1 starts on page 7. i remember people saying that we start to number in Roman Numerals from the top of each page break? Right? Well, I will give you an example...... Page with book title Page break Copyright info page Page break More copyright stuff Page break Dedication Page Page break and so on and so on. Here is my question. Do I make it look like, I Book title page Page break II Copyright info Page break III More copyright stuff Page break IV Dedication V so on and so on........' or should I leave them alone and let the chapter start at page number 7, no numeral roman 7. I am confused..... A lot of books I had were straight forward and I didn't see it. Hope somebody can help. What should I do? We can't change page numbers from the book right? What I thought but I remember people saying that we add some roman numeral numbers. Well, since I became volunteer for bookshare, I didn't have much time to work on many books so I haven't done too much books and I didn't see this kind of confusion before. Thanks for any help..... :)
