Hi Mary and Roger, Thanks for your thoughts on my uploading problem. For future reference, the "Browse" button actually says "Select File," and I'm just too dense to figure that out! Anyway, I uploaded the book this morning without first trying to type in the filename, and it worked perfectly! Thanks for the help! First, try using the browse button without typing anything into the edit box. You needn't type anything to browse to files on your computer when uploading a book for submission. Just hit enter on the browse button on the submission page and you'll get the dialogue opened that lets you direct where to find the file that you're wanting to upload. As for Jaws not reading anything, try unloading and reloading Jaws before attempting the editing of anything on the web. If that doesn't work, I'd reboot and try again. It's annoying, but is a result of Jaws being tired, I think. Let us know what happens. Since then I have tried to upload another book, and have not been able to. I use JAWS 12 to submit books, and I have always had problems writing in the filename on the first page. For some reason I can't write in enough characters to provide the entire path and filename to be uploaded. Usually I've pressed enter, been told the filename is not valid, and a toolbar comes up that lets me browse the files on my drive and select one. This week, the edit field is there, but when I type into it, letters do not show up. If I press enter, I get the message that the file is not found or is empty. And if I tab or shift-tab, trying to get to the toolbar, I get the links before and after the edit box on the regular screen. I have changed nothing in my system since I easily and quickly uploaded my last book on Monday. I'd certainly welcome any helpful thoughts from volunteers or Bookshare staff! Thanks so much! Sandi
