Friends
Just began hearing a two-part song in our woods. We have Blue Wingeds in
the summer but what I am hearing now is more musical/light and not buzzy.
I've noticed your multiple postings about Yellow-Rumpeds but don't think
I've seen them here. Do they visit sunflower feeders? If so, might I
mistake them for Goldfinches?
Goldfinch and Junco numbers seem to be declining but the Siskins are
hanging in there. :)
Thanks for your patience and help with my inquiries! As I shared with
someone the other day, I seem to have become a 70 year old cross between
Elmer Fudd, Snuffy Smith and Yosemite Sam. :) Eyesight and hearing are
fading but enthusiasm for birding is still going strong. LOL
