Thanks to Steve Kistler's assistance, I am now trying out eBird.
I did not expect to report any great finds, but that just goes to show you
never know...
The exceptional views of the Tree Swallows and Bald Eagle were a real treat.
When I was scanning an island through my binoculars, this huge strange-looking
domestic goose (duck?!) comes into view. I actually found it in Peterson's,
but I had to resort to Wiki for information on the Egyptian. According to
eBird this and the Cackling geese are rare for here.
Weather: started out breezy, 40's and changed to very windy.
